Feridun’s expertise includes strategic advisory and brokerage services. His sector coverage centres on hotels and resorts, and residential tourism development. Feridun has helped many residential tourism developers to promote their projects in the UK and Europe. He assisted clients with their investment strategy in the nautical tourism industry in South Eastern Europe. At the moment, he is developing our members presence in Turkey. He is also assisting investors in locating distressed property or companies with sound operating hotels or hotel development sites in the UK.
Feridun undertook doctoral studies in Tourism Strategy. He is interested in both the resource- and competence-based views to building competitive advantage and sustainability in hotel organisations. He is primarily interested in the management of brand development as a core competence leading to sustainable competitive advantage in the hotel industry. He looks at positioning, differentiation and competitive advantage in branding by using the resource- and competence-based framework. The brand has been seen as an umbrella encompassing the strategic variables deployed for the external orientation, creating an entry and mobility barrier between the strategic groups, and in turn, as a resource and a core source of competitive advantage.

Richard is Senior Advisor with Assetreal. He was previously Senior Partner/Chairman of Cluttons Middle East. He is adept at recognising business opportunities and building new business lines and teams, whilst remaining supportive of the total business and other team leaders. He worked with Cluttons LLP for over 30 years, he was responsible for many new initiatives and has held many key posts within the business. He practiced as General Practice Surveyor for significant clients in both the Middle East and London. He is currently advising on multi-million properties in Abu Dhabi, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Libya.
Simon Hudspeth has been one of Europe’s leading advisers for the past 15 years. As a Director of two leading firms, he has conducted, managed and directed thousands of hotel consultancy, valuation, and advisory assignments throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australasia. His extensive operational experience includes 13 hotel openings on four separate continents with Hyatt International.

Viesturs is a Senior Broker and he is a new addition to Assetreal. Viesturs is an active hotel broker with contacts throughout Europe. Viesturs has expertise in different sectors including FOREX trading, financial markets, renewable energy, real estate and hotels. He also has various skills in market research, financial analysis, technical and fundamental analysis of quoted companies, trading strategies, money and risk management, among others. Viesturs is based in Latvia. He speaks Russian and has strong contacts with hotel investors in Russia.
Loay has over twenty years experience in hotel, floatels and food and beverage management. He worked for major international chain including Mӧvenpick, Le Meriden, Oberoi, Swiss Inn, Ritz Carlton, and Crowne Plaza. His expertise includes technical advice during hotel construction, per-opening, financial management and cost control, property management and asset management.
